Wrapping up 5 days in the South Bay, we saw old friends and new while crashing in a San Jose ADU (thanks Kurt & Sarah!) Our time here kicks off with the best Indian Pizza we’ve ever had from Tasty Pizza – a staple from our time in Cupertino! We also can’t avoid going up to Skyline Boulevard, where Changyi and Jie took us on a hike to remind us that we’re not the only funny looking people on the trail – thanks!

The foodie tour continues with a lovely evening hosted by Neetu, who introduces us to some crazy-tasty cider from Posterity Ciderworks and great Burmese. I think the theme of this trip is really shaping up to be “Radu gains weight”…

After not consuming a calorie for an incredulously long 12 hours, we meet up again with Changy & Jie, as well as recent Bay Area transplants Nicky & Josephine to get Vietnamese food from Nha Trang – the pork noodles were fantastic, and we ate for 2 days from this very affordable portion.

There’s too much food to point to, and too many people we were fortunate enough to see again (sorry we missed you Sam!), but we were luckiest to be serenaded by the lovely Junlin on our way out of San Jose – we can’t wait to see you again on stage, rockin’ out on her guitar!
